W² Education Policy

Terms and Conditions

W² Education is dedicated to providing a supportive and rigorous learning environment. It shall be deemed that students, parents, and guardians understand and agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions to ensure a conducive experience.

These Terms and Conditions govern your rights and obligations regarding enrolment, payment, cancellations, proprietary content, privacy, and the use of our website.

By accessing or using our services, website, or enrolling in our courses, you agree to abide by these terms.

Conditions of Entry

To enrol in W² Education courses, students must provide the necessary personal and academic details, agree to our payment terms, and accept these Terms and Conditions. W² Education reserves the right to refuse enrolment based on factors such as course capacity, academic suitability, or other educational considerations.

Student Conduct

At W² Education, we uphold the highest standards of conduct to ensure a conducive learning environment. The following guidelines must be adhered to by all students:

  • Quality of Attendance
Punctuality and preparedness are essential for an optimal learning environment. Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons on time, fully prepared with required materials and equipment, unless otherwise excused for legitimate reasons. Absences without prior notice or sufficient justification may affect the student’s progression. Repeated tardiness may result in a review of the student’s enrolment.
  • Homework Engagement
W² Education Homework is assigned as a critical component of the learning process and should be completed independently first. Students are expected to submit all homework on time before each lesson. Habitually late or low-effort submissions may incur penalties, including reduced academic feedback, at the discretion of the teaching staff. This policy is in place to ensure that students develop a strong work ethic and benefit fully from the course material.
  • Academic Integrity
W² Education upholds a strong commitment to academic and personal integrity. Any form of dishonest conduct, including plagiarism or cheating, is strictly prohibited. This includes misconduct during assessments, invigilated quizzes, homework, or exams. Students found engaging in such behavior will face disciplinary action, which may include removal from the course.

While we acknowledge that some schools issue loosely monitored ‘individual’ assessments, it is not the policy of W² Education to report such instances directly to educational institutions. However, W² Education and its staff are indemnified from any liability or repercussions stemming from breaches of academic conduct deemed by third-party institutions.
  • Respectful Communication
Mutual respect is a core value at W² Education. Students are required to communicate respectfully with both peers and staff at all times. Inappropriate language, whether verbal or written, will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.
  • Classroom Behaviour
At W² Education, students are expected to contribute to a positive and focussed classroom environment. Disrespectful or disruptive behaviour during lessons, including excessive noise or distracting movements, will not be tolerated. Students who repeatedly cause disturbances may be subject to warnings, and in severe cases, removal from the course.
  • Electronic Device Usage
The use of mobile phones, tablets, cameras, and other electronic devices is prohibited during lessons unless specifically approved by the teaching staff for strictly educational purposes.

During designated break times, students may take photograph(s) of the whiteboard content for educational purposes only, provided they do not disrupt the learning environment and respect the privacy of other students and staff.

However, the following activities are nonetheless forbidden during lesson times:
    • Audio or video recording
    • Photography
    • Live streaming or transcription of content
  • Personal Belongings
Students are advised to avoid bringing valuable items to class. W² Education excludes responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal property.
  • Food and Drink Policy
Food and drink consumption is only allowed during designated break times. Water is the only beverage permitted in classrooms during lessons. Students are expected to keep learning spaces tidy and dispose of any waste after consuming food during breaks.
  • Student Presentation
At W² Education, students are expected to maintain a high standard of presentation and behaviour. This includes the following:
    • Attire. Students are required to maintain a dutiful appearance, and attire must be appropriate for the learning environment. Clothing deemed immodest or distracting are not acceptable. Students may be asked to leave the classroom if their attire is not suitable.
    • Personal Hygiene. Students are expected to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene out of respect for the shared learning space. Hair should be clean and neatly maintained to an acceptable standard.

While the use of cologne or perfume is permitted (and in some cases, encouraged), it must be applied in moderation to avoid creating an overbearing atmosphere that could distract or discomfort others.

  • Refund Policy
    See our refund policy section.
  • Payment Schedule
A minimum of 1 full term of tuition must be fully paid following the trial period. Late payments may incur an additional fee. • Referral Rewards
W² Education may offer referral programs that allow current students to receive discounts or other incentives for referring new students. The terms of the referral program will be communicated clearly and are subject to change.
  • Fee Adjustments
W² Education reserves the right to amend pricing for courses, materials, and services at any time. Notice will be provided at least 14 days in advance of any changes.
  • Replacement Classes
Makeup or catch-up classes may be offered within the same stream of courses, subject to availability. We may, in some cases, recover from you a reasonable fee for the rescheduling of classes, which will be communicated at the time of request. Timely notification to W² Education administration increases the likelihood of successful rescheduling.
  • Administration Fees
Moving between classes, attending makeup or catch-up lessons, or rescheduling lessons outside of normal hours may incur additional fees.
  • Changes to Course Details
The Centre reserves the right to amend course times, content, designated teaching staff, or lesson durations without prior notice. Such changes do not entitle students to a full refund.

W² Education reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to insufficient enrolments, staff illness, or other unforeseeable circumstances. In such cases, affected students will be offered an alternative date or a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Student Recognition

At W² Education, we are proud to celebrate the achievements of our students. As part of this, we may highlight exam results or other academic successes in our promotional materials, particularly when students reach high-performance milestones. We ensure that any shared results reflect academic excellence and are presented with care and respect for the students involved.

With your prior consent, we may also include photos or videos of students in our materials, in line with our Privacy Policy. By enrolling in our centre, students and their parents/guardians give consent for these results to be shared in this manner. We are committed to handling student information responsibly, ensuring it aligns with privacy guidelines and reflects our commitment to respecting your trust.

Termination of Enrolment

W² Education reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrolment for any of the following reasons:

  • Non-Compliance. Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions, including conduct policies
  • Outstanding Fees. Non-payment of fees or failure to adhere to payment schedules
  • Academic Dishonesty. Any form of academic misconduct that violates the integrity of the educational environment.

Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and W² Education. Any failure by us to enforce a provision will not be construed as a waiver of any rights under these terms. If any provision is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.
By proceeding with enrolment at W² Education, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you have any questions or require clarification on any points, please do not hesitate to reach out to our administrative team.
